Born in Quebec from bilingual parents- father from New-Brunswick and mother from Quebec- even though we spoke french in our house,  newspapers, magazines and most books were in english.
The TV was 80 % of the time on english channels ( american or canadian )

My brothers went to english speaking schools and had english speaking friends, my sister and I went to french speaking schools and had mostly french speaking friends.

There was a mix of liberal and conservative values in our house.
