PTBC J-Log

A conservative OPINION blog --with bite. OPINION by Joel Johannesen.

Your tax dollars at work!
There have been   babies aborted in Canada so far this year.
Hey maybe we can call abortion "stimulus", or part of "Canada's Economic Action Plan"!
Our abortion counter was formulated using annual Stats Canada figures.

My favorite video blogger Steven Crowder visits Canadian healthcare:  It’s a warning to Americans

Written by Joel Johannesen on Monday July 20 2009 at 06:41 PM

This is a bit of a special one.  His videos are usually about three to six minutes long.  But this is about his visit to Canadian healthcare for actual care.  So it is in excess of 20 minutes long.  But unlike Canadian healthcare, it’s actually entertaining.  And it’s ACTUALLY free.

HI Joel,

You know, I didn’t realize how bad our health care was until I watched Fox News and heard them cite statistics on our rate of death for certain cancers because we don’t have access to the more expensive drugs, so, we die. All kinds of stats that we Canadians aren’t even aware of because we’ve been so entrenched in this thing for so long we don’t know any different. We need a big wake up call, and I love this clip you’ve just posted. It’s not an exaggeration, in fact it’s probably tame compared to what’s going on out there. I think that doctors are also so entrenched it affects how they treat people, in an offhanded seemingly uncaring manner. They have quotas and refuse to go over and above because they won’t get paid. Or they buy into the clinics… I loved the guys sitting there with the masks on. They can’t prescribe drugs that are not available, even though they know their potential. They become jaded as well.

...Someone needs to do a huge overreaching study on our so called health system and give our fellow Canadians a wake up call. Hey, who knows, maybe watching what Obama is trying to do could be the best thing for us. Rally the troops!

• If you think PTBC has no value, then don't pay anything for it. It will fade into the sunset. That's the free market at work.
