Big brother, big mother, and big nanny state know-it-all LIBERALS pass “anti-spanking” bill

Written by Joel Johannesen on Thursday June 19 2008 at 07:35 AM

We’re too stupid to raise our children on our own. Liberals must correct our behavior.

After the Senate gets done with their banning of the NFL in Canada, this anti-spanking bill (as led by idiotic Orwellian Liberal Senator Céline Hervieux-Payette) will REALLY get Canada going on the correct path in the correct way, which of course is the dear benevolent liberal government way, not your way.

Senate passes anti-spanking bill

Proposed legislation that could see parents hit with charges of assault for spanking their children has passed a first crucial step on its way to becoming law.

The bill, which would prohibit parents from using force on their children except in very limited circumstances, was adopted without fanfare by the Senate last evening. Liberal MP Marlene Jennings will now take it to the House of Commons, which must also adopt it before it can become law.

So remember:  don’t spank your kids.  Your government knows best.  It’s still OK to abort them of course, silly, just don’t spank them.
