As always, in the latest U.S. ratings Fox news Channel has proven to be the massive winner in terms of the number of viewers of the main cable news network shows. And as usual, Bill O’Reilly’s O’Reilly Factor beats the competition by a mile. Interestingly, each and every host of the main shows on Fox News Channel are watched by more people than those who watch Larry King on CNN, their big popular star, and more than Wolf Blitzer or Lou Dobbs or any of their big news stars.
Unless you believe that the vast majority of Americans are right-wing Republican-voting conservatives and are addicted to “totally right-wing biased Fox News Channel”, then you have to believe that even liberals are watching Fox News Channel—and you have to believe it’s not just for what smug deceitful liberals will claim is its “comedy factor”. You have to believe that it’s for good reasons.

Fox News Channel is available in Canada now, after it was banned by the liberals’ beloved CRTC state censor for some time. It was only approved after the liberal-laden state censor bureaucrats approved Al Jazeera. And even then, they discussed the possibility of slapping monitoring and control restrictions on it the same as they did Al Jazeera, thinking that the “right-wing bias” would be dangerous for Canada and could pose a national security threat.
In America, they simply let the people decide. And they have, as I’ve said.
Call your cable or satellite provider and get it. It’s only been made available on the digital spectrum here, unlike the state-run media’s Newsworld state news, or CTV Newsnet, or CNN, so you have to get a digital box from your cable provider (satellite is all digital), but they all rent them for very little money. You don’t have to understand how it works—they come over and hook it up for you. And it’s worth it because there’s lots of channels available only on the digital spectrum now, and more coming all the time. TV is going totally digital eventually.
FNC is completely different than anything you’ve seen in Canada. They present both sides. No, really. And by that I don’t mean “the left’s side”, and “the far left’s side”. People in Canada have absolutely no idea —none whatsoever—what “fair and balanced” news reporting is. When you hear far-left people in Canada mocking FNC (as if they know), it is a signal to you that they’re lying and that they have utterly no clue what they’re talking about.
