Liberal media in a blinkered state of abject denial and ignorance

Written by Joel Johannesen on Friday May 11 2007 at 06:12 AM

So anxious are they to slam the Harper Conservatives to boost their anti-conservative agenda, the liberal media—at the Vancouver Sun (Canwest Global), anyway —seem prepared to pretend to not really notice the glaring fact that the young man I think is clearly a rather radical and full-on anti-Harper full-time anarchist, who plays in a punk “progressive” band with this as their honorable compassionate symbol of Canadian patriotism:

...took the time and trouble to apply for a job IN THE GOVERMENT, and was HIRED.  A radical anti-Harper anarchist who made an effort to get into the government itself, with access to secret documents.  In the midst of a war on terror, among other things.

Here’s a suggestion:  Wake the frick up, liberals in and out of the media.

Their cute little anti-Conservative story, written by Canwest News Services’ Mike De Souza, on page A4 this morning (rather than the front page which was reserved for vital coverage of some unionized public school janitors who complain about cleaning up dog turds), seems to almost praise the efforts of the radical anarchist they would love to have you believe is nothing but an earnest, heroic “whistleblower” and yet another brave cleric of the green religion.  This is pathetic.

Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion sides with the Conservative government on the matter of the arrest of this anarchist.  However the ridiculous unthinking minions of Layton’s you’ve got to be kidding party continues to give ample credence to my you’ve got to be kidding moniker for them, and take the anarchist’s side.  Such patriots.  Such lovers of law and order.  Such noble little fighters for radical Harper-hating anarchists, those socialists are.

Luckily, some semblance of sanity prevails at the National Post (despite being of the same ownership—clearly much better editors), and they feature a front page picture of the anarchist holding up a poster inscribed with the lovely Canadian value which reads:

“BOMB THE SUBURBS”

.. and a story which is headlined with indications of his radical anarchist character.
