CBC’s oft-used source for political experts —the Huffington Post —in new hate du jour
Here’s a bit of a post from the infamous Huffington Post web site, the web site which the state-owned CBC seems to use as a go-to place to secure folks to act as guest political experts for their Newsworld news channel. They ask questions of the Huffington Post experts in order to fully inform Canadians, CBC-style. Canadians, bereft of news otherwise, could, the CBC may well think, benefit from this kind of good, respectful, balanced, and not-at-all radical or extremist left-wing viewpoint.
O’Reilly Attends Easter Services At Church Led by Ex-Nazi
The Huffington Post has learned that Bill O’Reilly—who claims to love America—spent Sunday at a “church” run by a former Hitler Youth named Joseph Alois Ratzinger. Ratzinger has gone to elaborate ends to hide this connection, including taking on the absurd pseudonym “Pope Benedict XVI.” Which, even if it doesn’t prove anything, certainly makes you think.
[...]
This would all be holy water under the bridge, except for one disturbing and undeniable fact: Bill O’Reilly is a Roman Catholic, and Benedict “Joey Ratz” XVI worked for Hitler…
So the “Joey Ratz” the Pope is a Nazi, see? Charming. And Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly is “associated” with him, that “Nazi”, what with Bill being a Catholic and all.
This is exactly the same as presidential candidate Barack Obama being intimately associated with the anti-white, anti-American Jeremiah Wright, see? This is logical, and it is fair comment, to a liberal.
The CBC: associating with—and professionally engaging—terrific people from terrific sources, who make good sense, for your benefit. On your dime. Go team.
Here are some recent CBC / Huffington Post collaborations from a recent post of my own (CBC’s expert “news” source, Huffington Post: participants wish Dick Cheney dead):
State-run CBC does U.S. election. On one side: Daily Kos writer; on other: Huffington Post writer
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rachel-sklar/
(The guy in the middle is from the far-left —no, the radical far-left and perhaps even more vile —Daily Kos blog. That’s “balanced” for the CBC. Far-left, and even-further-far-left.)
CBC introduces Huffington Post guest without advising that Huffington Post is far left-wing site
When the CBC Newsworld news segment starts, anchor introduces the guest simply as the “...political editor of the Huffington Post, it’s a popular web site for analysis and opinion.”
RELATED:
• CBC interviews yet another “expert” from… the Daily Kos. Introduces him as… nothing of the sort
• MUST READ: “Inside the Mind of the CBC”
• If you think this site is of no value, then don't pay anything for it, and it will fade into the sunset. That's capitalism at work.
