Liberal Bob Rae kisses Liberal Michael Ignatieff in apparent twist on ass-kissing
In post modern Canada, there’s nothing wrong with two gals kissing in public—like in the House of Commons. ‘Specially if you’re liberals. And you really really dig the other gal.
So when new Liberal MP “Bare-Ass” Bob Rae kissed fellow gal pal Michael Ignatieff upon entering the House yesterday, it was no biggy. They’re very Euro. Plus they’re like BFFs, having been roomies and all.
Was it planned?
“That was quite spontaneous,” Rae told CTV’s Canada AM on Monday.
Well then. How manly. Real alpha males, these liberals. Stick Dion in there and you’ve got quite a pack o’ dames.
And yes, reports have it that “Bare-Ass” Bob did have his pants on at the time, unlike when he recently chose to take all his clothes off in front of state-owned CBC cameras, to be broadcast on national television so as to show all of Canada his bare ass, like all statesmen and world leaders do when the stunt can garner cheap-ass votes and you want to be my country’s respected Prime Minister.
Mercifully (for them and all of humanity), this spontaneous display of ass-kissing affection wasn’t caught on camera. But it leaves me wondering: did Rae do it the cool Euro way —on both cheeks? Bet he did.
