9/11 anniversary brightened, for some, by positive Iraq report

Written by Joel Johannesen on Tuesday September 11 2007 at 09:35 AM

As we remember the victims of 9/11, by timely coincidence the report by General Petraeus suggests that the surge (or what liberals in the media used to call “Bush’s surge” but suddenly now just call “the surge”) is working, and progress is being made in Iraq.  This angers liberals, who have staked what is left of their credibility (none—they’re going negative now) on losing the war on terror and in particular the Iraq front of that war.

Meanwhile, the state-run CBC will advance that image for its viewers when pigs fly.
