David Suzuki sounds like a fascist loon this week

Written by Joel Johannesen on Thursday February 07 2008 at 10:43 AM

image ... if there is such a thing as a fascist loon.

Apparently on Monday, the liberals’ Prophet, and Liberal Frenchman Stephane (“the Green Guru”) Dion’s left brain, the esteemed el grande Doctor Suzuki, bug doctor, decreed that here forth, all politicians who don’t buy into his “man-made global warming” religion and doctrine shall be… put in the gulag.  Jailed.

image Oh that’s tolerant.

The savage Islamofascist Taliban jihadist nutbars should all be released from Guantanamo, but Stephen Harper should be thrown in jail —without a trial, mind you.  This is how liberals think.

The National Post reports that “The proposal has lit up many conservative blogs since it was first reported by the McGill Daily on Monday.”  Well I guess that’s possible but this conservative blog never even heard about it until I read about it just this morning.  I guess the liberals’ media isn’t making much of this lunacy.

If Jerry Falwell ever said anything we all heard about it.  George Bush says “nucular” and the liberals’ media goes ape-poop, lights its hair on fire, dances in the streets, holds festivals, call him a total “moron”, then start their “countdown to the end of Bush” clocks.

“What I would challenge you to do is to put a lot of effort into trying to see whether there’s a legal way of throwing our so-called leaders into jail because what they’re doing is a criminal act,” said Dr. Suzuki, a former board member of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.

I wonder what the “Civil Liberties” Association thinks of their boy now!  Actually—I take that back.  I don’t doubt they support him 100%.  “Civil liberties”, as we’ve found out from the liberals’ “human rights” commissions and tribunals, and their notion of “free speech”, are relative matters.  If you’re liberal, they’re different than if you’re conservative.

I enjoyed how the National Post pointed out this:  “The statement elicited rounds of applause.”  Nonetheless, the National Post suckups strained credulity by stridently ending the article by finding a way that the Conservatives could ultimately be thrown in jail, thanks to the Liberal Apostles in office today.

Yet there could be a better blueprint for Dr. Suzuki’s legal scenario.

The Kyoto Protocol Implementation Act, a Liberal-sponsored private member’s bill that passed and was given Royal Assent last year, legally requires the Conservative government to abide by the international pact’s short-term environmental targets.

In the event that conditions are not met, government officials are held liable.

Go team liberal.

Update:
The Drudge Report makes a reference to the story of what I call the fascist loon…
