Ghosts of Obama past:  disgruntled Rev. Wright says “them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me”

Written by Joel Johannesen on Thursday June 11 2009 at 03:48 PM

ABC News reports it:

...Asked if he’s spoken to his former parishioner since he become President, Wright told David Squires, “them Jews ain’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office.” ...

The Chicago Tribune. adds more:

...“Of course I voted for him—he’s my son. I’m proud of him,” Wright said. “I’ve got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven’t stopped loving any of them.

“He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I’ve got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him.” ...

...But CBC doesn’t report this at all, nor does CTV, nor the National Post, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, or any of those other papers or media who can’t stop themselves from constantly sharing their love for their man Obama.  Don’t mistake this as simply a matter of it being an “American” story and not “Canadian”.  The story is being carried by news agent Associated Press, with the imprimatur of Canadian Press on it (slight confusion there), and of course AP and CP stories are available to all those Canadian news media outlets.  In fact the URL of the AP story I read smells like CBC’s:
http://news.sympatico.msn.cbc.ca/World/ContentPosting…

It’s just not actually on CBC.ca’s web site (as far as I can tell, and I’ve spent more than enough time at the web site of hate trying to find it, thank you).

Nearly no media (and certainly none in Canada that I can find) are carrying anything about the increasingly liberal, increasingly idiotic, and the possibly increasingly desperate David Letterman’s filthy, sexist, insulting, gratuitous slurs against toward Sarah Palin and her 14-year-old daughter this week, nor his ridiculous “apology” which he actually used as an opportunity to hopefully book Palin as a guest on his show to show his “remorse” —and, actually, to help boost his ratings (Palin spokesman responded today: “The Palins have no intention of providing a ratings boost for David Letterman by appearing on his show. Plus, it would be wise to keep Willow away from David Letterman.”).

Nor are they covering any of the other recent, extremist slurs against Palin from mainstream liberals and leftists.

I’m just trying to say everything’s normal.
