PTBC J-Log

A conservative OPINION blog --with bite. OPINION by Joel Johannesen.

Sunday, September 09, 2007

Hi —it’s Joel under here. Oh just trust me.

Written by Joel Johannesen on Sunday September 09 2007 at 09:46 AM

Even liberals are embarrassed by the actions of their Elections Canada division this past week, which, like so many other of the liberals’ liberal-stacked creations and institutions, unilaterally decided to pretend they’re allowed to make laws or “read things into” laws instead of (or actually in spite of) leaving it to the people and their elected representatives.

image  In the liberal-left’s continuing effort to foist their multicult on us and their institutional submission to Islam like Dhimmis, they foisted one on us this past week that declared, on our behalf, as Elections Canada genius bureaucrats appointed by genius liberals think they are entitled to do, that Muslim women who are wearing full head covering (thus totally hiding their identity) should happily be allowed to vote “just like any other Canadian”  —a proper description of which they of course could not come up with after years of liberal-left multicult idiocy.

This is of course insane, and, well, sort of “Iranian”. But I suppose their thinking is that as long as it’s “progressive” and “multicultural” and liberal-sounding (and it is)... it must be good for us even though we don’t know it yet.

Vote liberal!

Allah Akhbar!

EXTRA:

1. Nearly all parties have come out against this idiocy… but where’s the you’ve got top be kidding party on this?  Nobody seems to know.  Perhaps Jack is hiding under a niqab.

2. And here’s the scary statement of the month:  A spokesman named Sarah Elgazzar of the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (a Muslim organization better known as CAIR, which some folks credibly accuse of being nothing short of an Islamist front for anti-Americanism and the spreading of Islamism in North America) reported to CTV that “I can almost guarantee that in the Outremont riding . . . there won’t be a single woman wearing niqab, so this debate is almost completely and utterly useless.”

Nobody can tell for sure if she’s really that provincial in her thinking and that stupid, and really doesn’t see that this could be a slippery slope—a harbinger of things to come not just in Outrmont but all over our Canada; or if she’s trying to pull the niqab over our eyes.  I suspect the latter.

These things happen slowly, gradually.  Liberals know that.  Gently, slowly, squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube from whence it’s impossible to put it back in.
