Liberal Democrat woman lawmaker: All male lawmakers should be “sent home”

Written by Joel Johannesen on Monday January 25 2010 at 10:42 AM

Let’s play our little game:  Imagine if, oh, say, Sarah Palin had said it!  Or virtually any even remotely conservative figure in politics at all, anywhere.  Imagine!

OK that was fun.  Now let’s get on with exposing this blatantly sexist, anti-male ass (I’m being gentle — they’d likely call Sarah Palin not only “anti-male” and an “ass”, but of course but also “stupid” and “male-hating”, possibly a “Nazi”;  and likely at the CBC comments sections, all of that plus a “bitch”  — in order to explain Palin’s self-evident sexism).  We need to do this because in this case (a liberal Democratic Party woman) no mainstream media will touch it, as they most certainly would if it were any conservative (or Conservative, or Republican, or possibly any Christian) male or female at all, anywhere in North America.

Dem lawmaker: Congress could pass health reform if men were ‘sent home’
By Jordan Fabian - 01/24/10 12:28 PM ET

A female Democratic lawmaker in footage released Sunday said Congress could pass healthcare if female lawmakers “sent the men home.”

Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-N.H.) said that both Republican and Democratic women members of Congress understand how to care for relatives and thus want the healthcare system to change.

“We go to the ladies room and the Republican women and the Democratic women and we just roll our eyes,” she said. “And the Republican women said when we were fighting over the healthcare bill, if we sent the men home…” at which point she was interrupted by loud applause.

“You know why? I’m not trying to diss the men but I’m telling you it’s the truth that every single woman there has been responsible for taking care of a [relatives] and so we think we can find a common ground there,” she said.

Men are useless.  Got it?  Good.  Vote for more “progressives” like this, and get more of this.

Yes, we need more women to abandon traditional care-giving roles and move into politics like she’s done. We’ll all be much better off then…..
