PTBC J-Log
A conservative OPINION blog --with bite. OPINION by Joel Johannesen.Friday, September 07, 2007
Melissa Gilbert supports a Republican prez candidate
She’s best known as a star in a blockbuster series from 1974-83 called Little House on the Prairie—a series based on good American family values so pure and traditional that the state-run CBC recently saw fit to attempt to rewrite its good place in television history with a sound mocking of it (as best they could—severely handicapped in this regard due to apparent lack of brainpower though they are), with what ended-up being a failed, typically fatuous and politically tendentious series called “Little Mosque on the Prairie”. On your dime of course.
Melisa Gilbert has grown some
Melisa Gilbert is on CNN’s list of donors to Republican presidential candidates. It lists all sorts of Hollywood stars. Turns out, though that she’s one of only two stars listed as donating to Republicans (Rudy Giuliani). All the others—and there’s tons listed, donated to Democrats so far.
That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I think what surprises me most of all is how cheap the Hollywood liberals all seem to be. With their millions and millions of extremely hard-earned acting dollars, and their constant and usually totally off-base and inappropriate blathering for left-wing causes, you’d think they’d pony-up a little more of their precious cash to further advance their “progressive” causes.
It will be interesting to see who, if any of them, donates to Republican Fred Thompson’s campaign.
Here’s some of their list:
