Reports have it that the ABC network’s Obama Propaganda Day was a complete flop.
ABC’s White House special struggled for viewers
Obama special President Obama’s town hall meeting on health care delivered a sickly rating Wednesday evening.
The one-hour ABC News special “Primetime: Questions for the President: Prescription for America” (4.7 million viewers, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. hour (against NBC’s “The Philanthropist” debut and a repeat of “CSI: NY” on CBS). The special tied some 8 p.m. comedy repeats as the lowest-rated program on a major broadcast network.
Further analysis by me tells more of the story: More people watched a repeat of “New Adventures of Old Christine.” And in terms of talent, “America’s Got Talent” got more than twice as many viewers.
Too bad for the Obamatons that they don’t have the CBC forced on them in the the U.S., or it would have been in dead last place instead. Hey maybe they’ll make ABC the American CBC. The All Barack Channel. Of course they would have lots of competition. CBS, CNN, The Porn Channel, NBC, the Viva la Cuba network, and of course Al Jazeera.
