Is the National Post officially conservative hating too? Looks like it!

From supporting Barack Obama as if he was the savior of the world, to mocking Sarah Palin and calling her an “idiot” and counseling us to “ignore her”, to bashing Ann Coulter as an irrelevant has-been (in yet another 3/4-page article about her — the irony flies right over their heads), the National Post — or what I now call the state-owned CBC/National Post news and advertising cooperative because they entered into contractual deals with the state-owned media to share news and advertising — today features yet another gratuitous (and news-wise, an utterly useless) “tea party”-bashing article on their front page

It’s shear coincidence that today is election day in the U.S. and the tea party is set to make huge gains, mocking the National Post, of course.  It’s like they’re petulant, angry two-year-olds, as one news man (who was “steeped in Canada”) once described Republican voters***

I don’t know who edits this thing, but the National Post might have the worst editors in all of Canadian news.

*** Here’s the exact quote:
“Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming,” said Jennings. “Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week….Parenting and governing don’t have to be dirty words: the nation can’t be run by an angry two-year-old.”
Canadian-born (or shall we be so glib as to say “steeped in Canada”?) Peter Jennings, ABC News, election 1994, as conservatives and Republicans swept into the House in that election, obviously against his better judgment as a news reporter.
