Happy Thanksgiving, America!
As some of y’all know, here in Canada we’ve already chowed down and thanked God almighty —and yes that’s the actual, official lawful purpose of the federally-mandated holiday here, and is written-up in official state proclamation form (see here) as follows:
“A day of general Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed.”
(Ohhh it drives the liberals nuts… you betcha!)
But yours is good too. I guess. You late harvesters, you.
Our friend Victoria and her blog Sundries makes a comparison between Canadian and American Thanksgiving, even including an official interview with a Canuck.
