A quarter of Republican delegates vote AGAINST McCain in N. Carolina

Most media ignored the Republican side of the equation in yesterday’s primaries in North Carolina and Indiana, because they ignore Republicans at all costs unless they find one who missed a car payment or said nucular instead of nuclear. But Republicans were also voting — nearly a million bothered to vote — and interestingly they continued to show their lack of interest in the less-than-conservative presumptive Republican nominee John McCain.

North Carolina
Candidate Votes Vote %
McCain 381,138 76%
Huckabee 62,917 12%
Paul 40,275 8%

It doesn’t show up on my chart, but the Republican Party’s Alan Keyes got 13,000+ votes in North Carolina. Nobody knows about Keyes. Alan Keyes is an African American decedent of slaves, who was of course running under the Republican banner. He’s married to an Indian from Calcutta. He has a PhD from Harvard. He has a lesbian daughter. He’s a Catholic. Pro-life. Pro-traditional marriage. A former U.N. Diplomat under President Reagan. President Reagan said of him, “…he did such an extraordinary job … defending our country against the forces of anti-Americanism.” He added, “I’ve never known a more stout-hearted defender of a strong America than Alan Keyes.”

But don’t worry, he could never “unite America” nor bring about “change”. And Obama clearly loves America just the right amount, as judged by his 20-year admiration and adherence to the message of his mentor reverend Jeremiah Wright, who is an anti-American, anti-white racist, and a Marxist; and his association with the extreme leftist anti-American terrorist William Ayers of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group that bombed the Capitol, the Pentagon and the State Department in the 1970s. And therefore the media didn’t choose Keyes — they chose Obama instead.
