Al-Qaeda threatens France for standing up for France

image You know we’re in trouble when the French take over from the diminishing and apologizing America, and start taking the lead in resisting global Islamofascists (if only with symbolic rhetoric and machismo rather than actual deeds).

And you know Sakozy’s pressed the Islamofascists’ buttons when Al-Qaeda responds with insane threats of terrorist attacks against France, on the basis that France isn’t complying with the interests and demands of the Islamofascists and their subservience of women.

Al-Qaeda’s North Africa wing threatened on Tuesday to take revenge on France for its opposition to the burka, calling on Muslims to retaliate against the country, the US monitoring service SITE Intelligence reported.

Earlier this month, President Nicolas Sarkozy said the burka, which covers the whole face, was not welcome in the strictly secular country.  …

Now if only France and other countries like France would fully participate in the global war on Islamofascist terrorists, and take the fight to them on our (the civilized world’s) terms and our schedule, instead of waiting for the Islamofascists to take it to France and the rest of us, on their schedule, again,  we’d all be better off.

…And if only Canada had the balls…

Government drops plans to ban veiled voting

The federal government has no plans to move forward with proposed legislation to force veiled women to show their faces when voting, the minister of state for democratic reform said Thursday.

“We have other priorities as far as increasing voter participation and with the expanded voting opportunities legislation,” Steven Fletcher said in an interview. …
