Bad news for “Canada-luvin’” leftists

1. A Globe & Mail poll today goes way too well for liberals’ liking:

Are you more worried now about losing your job than you were six months ago?

Yes – 34% – 1329 votes

No – 66% – 2625 votes

DAMN!  Huh liberals and even further leftists?

Liberals and “New Democrats” (a media co-opted code for a full-on socialist party) are very upset with the attitude of Canadians as displayed here.  In addition to hating Canada’s foundational values and institutions and heritage, Canada’s left seem to want Canadians to fear and hate Canada as it exists now under Conservative leadership, and to fear and hate even more what could happen if they, the evil Conservatives, win again or worse, win a majority. And polls like this just ain’t helping.  Memos will be flying today, trying to drum up the fear and loathing.

2. The liberal-left—particularly the far left socialist of the media-supported NDP—are going to be in high dudgeon about this latest stat.  They want “working people” (that’s code for left-and far-left-voting union members who have been well trained in schools and media to hate conservatives and capitalism generally) to reflexively rely more and more on them, and on government and socialist government “programs” to get them through life.  Like in China and Cuba, the far-left’s national ideals.  They thrive on their well-honed class warfare platform.  They hold successful Canadians in utter contempt.  Tax them!  Tax them more! Label them “rich” and unworthy and as people who are not “working”!

Canadians’ average weekly earnings up 2.5 per cent

Wed. Aug. 27 2008 9:02 AM ET
The Canadian Press

OTTAWA—The average weekly earnings of employees stood at $789.23 in June, up 0.1 per cent from May and 2.5 per cent more than a year ago.

DAMN!

Layton and his tribe will urgently seek stats suggesting that because of inflation, wages are actually down, and will point out that “rich” people are making way more money than “poor” people, implication being that rich people did something wrong and don’t deserve more —or worse, that they actually “stole” money from “poor” people who actually do deserve more (because they are “working” people and union members whereas “rich” people aren’t and must be punished).  See?  It makes so much sense.
