“Coming up, we’ll have a comedian’s view of Harper”: State-run CBC

As if to prove how stupid it was for the Conservative Party geniuses to announce that they were going to trot their leader, Stephen Harper, around this summer, the media picked it up like a dog to a bone.

Just heard on state-run CBC Newsworld news media:

[paraphrased] “Harper is going to go on the BBQ circuit this summer hoping to turn that frown upside down in the hopes of winning over more Canadian voters… We’ll have a well-known comedian’s take on this, coming up…”

Later in a teaser, “Sunny side up!…. why Stephen Harper’s smiling face is ……”

UPDATE: The state-employed news anchor (Harry somebody)  sets up the piece: “He’ll try to lose the grumpy image he earned this spring…”

Dianna Francis is the comedian.

“He needs to learn to not take himself so seriously—to laugh at himself—you know, join the millions of Canadians who have been laughing at him….”

The whole, lengthly piece is a sound mocking of the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.  The state’s news anchor, Harry, is laughing his socialist ass off.

“He’s a premature ejecter,”  she says.

“Stephen Harper shouldn’t try and be something he’s

not

—you know, like the next prime minister”.

And there was more but I can only type so fast.  She was asked to take just one stab at Paul Martin but it was so lame and stupid I couldn’t even paraphrase it here.

By way of reminder, that was on state-run CBC news media.
