Extreme left swept out of power in Vancouver

Sam Sullivan…. and was replaced by right-leaner Sam Sullivan as mayor in yesterday’s city elections.  Some say Sullivan is or was Stephen Harper campaign-connected, which the left certainly tried to pin on him during the campaign as if that were a negative….. OOPS!

Sam Sullivan, who can speak Cantonese fluently, won against his Vietnam draft-dodger opponent, leftist Jim Green.

Sullivan’s right-ish-leaning NPA swept the city council vote and school board as well, thank God —removing the extreme leftists of outgoing neo-communist mayor Larry (“conservatives are barbarians”) Campbell—excuse me —the newly appointed by Paul Martin Senator Larry Campbell, who now sits in the Canadian Senate as a Liberal.

Among the neo-communists being ousted for their disgraceful leftism and replaced by more Conservative-friendly folks (who at least aren’t going to call me a “barbarian” for being a conservative Canadian), is one I wrote about recently,  Tim Louis, who I’d told you advocated installing city-owned brothels in Vancouver, and who wore his communist Che Guevara t-shirt at his last election victory celebration three years ago, as if he’d ushered in a new era of communism in Vancouver.  Well he wore that shirt again last night, on the way out the door, which I sincerely hope slammed behind him and locked itself securely.

Only one person from the neo-communist Larry Campbell’s old party survived the slaughter of extreme leftists.
