At the end of February our good friend Gerry Nicholls has a new book coming out called Loyal to the Core: Stephen Harper, me and the NCC
It’s part memoirs, part history of the National Citizens Coalition (he was the front man at NCC after Stephen Harper left to do something else), and part cautionary tale for the conservative movement.
Today the Toronto Sun carried an excerpt. It describes the time Stephen Harper decided to run for the Canadian Alliance leadership. (The caption at the top of the picture of the cover at left is a quote from columnist Lorrie Goldstein of the Toronto Sun, which reads “Gerry Nicholls is the sort of…conservative Harper used to be”.
The book will only be available online and can be pre-ordered here.
I’ve already pre-ordered my copy!
