Greenpeace admits to using lies, exaggeration to sell their global warming “science” to the stupids

Don’t worry, the outgoing leader of Greenpeace is off the hook, because he’s not a Republican or conservative in any way, shape, or form.  He’s another far left-wing “scientist” who lies or at least accepts that lies are OK if it means convincing people to change the world to suit his wacky world view.  So it’s OK, Jack, and CBC, you can keep reciting speeches provided by Greenpeace!  (And we know you will!)

EXCLUSIVE: Lies Revealed — Greenpeace Leader Admits Arctic Ice Exaggeration

by Phelim McAleer & Ann McElhinney‏

The outgoing leader of Greenpeace has admitted his organization’s recent claim that the Arctic Ice will disappear by 2030 was “a mistake.” Greenpeace made the claim in a July 15 press release entitled “Urgent Action Needed As Arctic Ice Melts,” which said there will be an ice-free Arctic by 2030 because of global warming.

Under close questioning by BBC reporter Stephen Sackur on the “Hardtalk” program, Gerd Leipold, the retiring leader of Greenpeace, said the claim was wrong.

“I don’t think it will be melting by 2030. … That may have been a mistake,” he said.

A “mistake”, huh?

… Although he admitted Greenpeace had released inaccurate but alarming information, Leipold defended the organization’s practice of “emotionalizing issues” in order to bring the public around to its way of thinking and alter public opinion.

I guess they’re not exceedingly sorry for lying to you and all those “scientists” out there then, since here’s the Greenpeace article as it appears just today, complete with that very lie still very much intact.  The one they already admitted was a lie —sorry a “mistake”.  To “emotionalize” the issue,

As you can see it comes complete with the ubiquitous lie photo of a polar bear —carefully designed by the liars to appeal to your emotions instead of your brain. manifestly to head fake you (sorry —“emotionalize” you) into thinking the poor bear is on one of the very last remaining pieces of Arctic ice, and forlorn, staring at his impending death and extinction of the entire species (but mostly those cute little bear cubs), it is looking into the watery “man-made global warming” future he can’t survive in.

It’s much like the most famous of these polar bear lie photos —the one carried by the New York Times and all liberal media, of those two polar bears looking forlorn into the water from atop a chunk of Arctic ice, and cast as though it were exactly as described above.  The one in which the photographer later admitted it’s all, um, “been taken out of context”

Icy truth:  “Mistakes” knowingly made by “scientists” who are knowingly lying to “emotionalize the issue” and appeal to people and governments and media and academics and politicians who later use these “mistakes” in speeches as the basis to turn entire national economies on their heads (mostly in the form of socialist policy), are what we call “lies”, made by “liars”.  Thank you.

And lies are made in the discussion of these issues when they liar knows the very issue underlying what he’s lying about is, well, “Obamacare”.  “Cap and trade”  And so on.  For further reference, see “Obamacare” and how the left is selling it.  (“Public option”…. oh my!  And “47 million” —no now it’s “48-50 million” without access to health care” —that’s a doozy! …)

See the YouTube video in which he admits he’s lying.
