Few people know that the young woman who came up with the idea of pretending to be a whore and secretly taping and exposing Obama’s ACORN division, and who is obviously now at the center of the latest ACORN scandal (in a positive way, if you’re a conservative, but alas, she’s naturally the target of scorn for liberals and/or Obamatons) is none other than the daughter of our own columnist Doug Giles.
Hannah Giles, a columnist in her own right, came up with the plan and hatched it with activist film maker James O’Keefe (see excerpt below). Together they wrote it up on Andrew Breitbart’s excellent new BigGovernment.com blog as I pointed out yesterday, Fox News ran with the tape provided to them, and Glenn Beck gave it massive attention both on his radio show where Hannah was a guest, and later on his massive TV show where she was also featured. Within an hour of his TV show, the ACORN culprits identified in the secret tape were fired, and then of course the liberal media began attacking Glenn Beck, Hannah Giles, and all conservatives.
Doug Giles’ PTBC column normally appears here on Sundays (he’s a pastor, so I figure that’s the best day for it!) but he wrote up a special small weekday column on this occasion (never once mentioning that Hannah is his daughter), entitled “Exposed! ACORN Gets Its Nuts Cracked”.
Congratulations for the bravery, the moral fortitude, and taking the risk, and for helping uncover corruption, Hannah! (And that’s some good quality output, Doug and wife!)

When I pitched the “prostitute goes into ACORN seeking housing” idea to James O’Keefe at the beginning of the summer, I had absolutely no idea how he would respond. He came back with, “Would you be willing to portray the prostitute? And if so, when can you do this?” …

A second tape by Hannah Giles was just played by Fox News’ Glenn Beck on his show, last hour. Now, two more ACORN employees have just been fired. The additional and perhaps more serious and surprising breaking news here is that the U.S. Census Bureau has just announced that they are breaking all ties with Obama’s ACORN division, pending a formal investigation into their corruption.
