Liberal-left enviro-nuts think the gasses they emit smell fresher than the conservatives’

The Conservative government’s Clean Air Act, already known better in the liberal media as the Slam Those God-Damned Conservatives in a Fresh New Way Act, actually smells a lot better than the Liberals’ Act of Kyoto Global Leftist Automaton Stupidity (and smokeless wiener stand!).

But you won’t hear it that way in your daily news.  So far today, all I’ve heard on liberalvision is a parade of one liberal-leftist after another from party ranks and from the dozens of their enviromentalist-industry religion divisions.  The anchors act surprised that the leftists environ-nuts don’t like the Conservatives’ plans, and several times now have asked several of them, “is there anything about this Act that you do like?!”, and the answer is, shockingly, “No”.

Balanced reporting is apparently achieved by interviewing one or two Conservative Party officials, who are then confronted by all the points the liberal-leftists just made (and started making two weeks ago before the bill was tabled).

Apparently, not one single non-Conservative Party Canadian can be found anywhere in the country who thinks the Conservative plans are solid and right.  Not one.

So the liberal media will repeat over and over the liberal-left talking points for you, as they have done for years and years on this file (since about the day after the media stopped warning us, as they did, that there was most certainly a global ice-age a-comin’, soon).

The plan said the government is committed to achieving an overall reduction in greenhouse gas emissions between 45 and 65 per cent below 2003 levels by 2050. [Environment Minister Rona] Ambrose said the targets will exceed those proposed by the previous Liberal government.

Liberals will argue that the methods proposed to achieve the goals won’t work.  You know, they won’t work, um, worse than the methods chosen by the Liberals didn’t work and Liberals will never, never (nor will their media) remind us that the non-Kyoto Americans have done much better than Canada in achieving Kyoto targets. “Damn Americans”, to quote several unprincipled liberals and sundry leftists in Canada and America.

[…] By 2050 the government wants to see an absolute reduction of greenhouse gas emissions between 45 and 65 per cent below 2003 levels—that will be the earliest that a national target is set. Consultations will begin this fall and by spring of next year the government hopes to have draft targets set.

And if you personally want to reduce your output by more than that or sooner than that, please by all means go ahead.
