Here’s a prime example of how the liberal media tries to swing everything toward the liberal side.
They start out on a story about how so many retail stores this year are shying away from using the word ‘Christmas’, which, like millions of people, is something that drives me nuts, like this:
“Some ultra-conservative Christian groups around the country are trying to put more Christ into Christmas this season.”
Gee. Do you see the slant? Could you possibly make out the bias?
See, I guess if I like Christmas to be celebrated as it was intended, you know like it was about “Christmas”, then I’m a big dumb right-winger idiot-head “ultra-right-winger” and a member of an “ultra-conservative Christian group”—probably like ‘Bush’. By this time next year, expect to hear the word “Halliburton” in their arguments and newspaper articles about this insidious use of the word Christmas.
I’m not a member of any “ultra-conservative Christian group” but I think stores are being completely idiotic when they try to pretend the holiday isn’t about Christmas. Anytime someone says “happy holidays” to me I cringe. I say Merry Christmas back to them unless they’re a rabbi. And when the rabbi says “shalom” to me, I say “shalom” back.
The story is on CBSNews.com. Imagine that. CBS of all places. How shocking.
They spend much of the rest of the story talking about the separation of church and state, in their mendacious effort to convince you, you dumb paperclip, that this is a story about the separation of church and state.
