National Post still all over The Great Obama

I said last week that now that the biggest event in history — the race between media ♥sweethearts♥  “Hillary The Magnificent” and “The Great Obama” — was finally over, we should expect absolutely fair and balanced media coverage of the race between “The Great Obama” and, well, what I’ve come to understand from the liberals’ media is the apparently “Old Retard Republican John McCain”.

The National Post (a Canwest Global paper) almost immediately blew it the very next day by publishing a nearly full front page artful picture ensemble of The Great Obama, asking in their headline the tendentious question:  “Can the U.S. be colour-blind?”, as if to imply that wanting McCain to win would mean you’re a “racist”.

Then on Monday I thought maybe they finally got over themselves and their Obama infatuation by publishing a two-page spread which appeared to be fairly fair and balanced, regarding V.P. choices for both sides. Both!  Wow!

But today they reverted back to their ♥Obama-luvin’♥  ways, with this huge photo of Obama which features adoring fans who all look up at him adoringly with with almost desperate looking, outstretched hands; and an accompanying article all about him with scant mention of McCain (who is brought up only to detail Obama’s criticisms about him).

And this is the National Post

Over on the left coast, the liberals’ Vancouver Sun (also Canwest Global) carries west the pro-liberal Obama propaganda drive with this huge article—all about Obama—including an absolutely enormous, totally gratuitous (it’s not even remotely mentioned in the article) picture of the fabulous new Obama souvenir doll (made in Germany), which, by the way, is constructed wearing an American flag lapel pin.

Golly gee whizackers I wonder why it is that Canadians are so enamored with “The Great Obama”.
