He used to work for them. Helped them organize. Used an ACORN division to help him get votes in the last election. He was their lawyer. They very publicly endorsed him. Campaigned for him. He’s talked non-stop about how important and in fact vital ACORN is to his vision of America and to his entire agenda.
And now he says he didn’t know about the Democratic Party-led Senate and House de-funding ACORN just last week, after a couple of young folks (Hannah Giles, James O’Keefe), Fox News, Andrew Breitbart, and a few others exposed their (OK, “alleged”) massive corruption? And that ACORN i’s not something he’s followed closely and it’s not something he’s paying a lot of attention to?

I’m so sorry. What do we call this again? Is this the rock solid truth? “A new era of transparency and accountability”? Or is this “lies” and “misinformation” that he always accuses his citizen opponents of spreading at town hall meetings?
Even ABC’s Democrat-cum-news anchor George Stephanopoulos looked stupefied at his answer.
