Obama takes credit for American security troop withdrawal in Iraq

Liberals and other Obamatons are all celebrating the symbolic U.S. security troop withdrawals out of the cities of Iraq, today, as if this were an Obama thing.  Or at best, they and their media are allowing the world to think it’s an Obama thing.  (Sort of like the CBC deceitfully attempted to do with a “stem cell research” story.)

Well it’s not an Obama thing.  This day wouldn’t be possible if Obama had his way, when he was dead set against the troop surge, which is the very thing that proved to clear the way for a day like this to happen.  Nor would it be possible if his Vice President, Joe Biden, had it his way a few years ago, when he demanded that Iraq be divided up and segregated into several different nation-states along religious lines.

Moreover, this is the result of a deal signed between President Bush and Iraq’s al-Maliki, last November, before Obama even called Collective Co-Op Community Non-Profit Van Lines and booked a move to the White House.  And it came after a long period of discussion and effort between grownups.

Liberals all know the exact press conference in which it was discussed by President Bush, but only because it was the one in which the yummy, infamous “journalist” shoe-throwing incident took place.  Liberals still celebrate that day today.  Liberals basked in the glory of their like-thinking “journalist” throwing shoes at Bush, replaying it over and over again on their news casts —with that great journalistic Bush is gone! objective fair and balanced and sane glee.  While Iraqis are today celebrating “National Sovereignty Day”, liberals are still celebrating that “Shoes Thrown at Bush Day” as the more juicy day of celebration.

Today, in his big speeches, Obama never mentioned it was President Bush who arranged this.  Thereby he is actually taking credit for this.  And the word for this is:  slimy.  Once again that’s slimy

Anyway, I’m leery.  It may prove too early to withdraw, but he will anyway. Commander-in-Chief Obama (oh my God that’s a frightening thing to type) is fighting a war based not on sound war-fighting advice or knowledge or experience (at least not that he listens to), but simply on left-wing ideology and the rhetoric typed into left-wing blogs.  And of course that’s just a recipe for disaster.

I’d keep the troops on speed dial. So would Bush.
