Curious PTBC readers emailed yesterday and this morning asking why I’d taken away the link to the “Blogging Tories” and the “Blogging Tories” page from this web site.
Indeed I did do that. I took away the link, and the linked page which held the “Blogging Tories” blogroll list for display. Sorry! I know some visitors used that link and list, because that linked page had thousands of hits.
But it really wasn’t my fault. The “Blogging Tories” sent me a rather terse email on Sunday (July 22) informing me that ProudToBeCanadian.ca has been removed from the “Blogging Tories”. Period. Done deal.
The reason? Well despite what I just said and the emails I received, it was because I didn’t have a link to the “Blogging Tories” or didn’t display the list. Which is strange because as I then removed the link and the whole page display of my “Blogging Tories” list, I took screen shots of them, just because that’s the kind o’ guy I am.

The link yielded this whole page dedicated solely to the “Blogging Tories”:

So unfortunately, ProudToBeCanadian.ca blog entries will no longer show up on the “Blogging Tories” aggregator, since we have been booted out of the club.
I hope folks help make up for the loss of exposure and the hits we used to get from them, by supporting ProudToBeCanadian.ca in every way they can. It’s getting harder and harder to be a real conservative in this country!
