PTBC nemesis New York Times once again picks link to PTBC: CBC and all Canadian media shun PTBC

I point this out when I have the time and I happen to notice it, and I do it for reasons beyond just braggadocio, since it’s really not a conscious editorial decision of the New York Times or any of the others, as much as it is a robotic happenstance.

I do notice the temporary increase in hits to PTBC when the New York Times or USA Today link to an article here at PTBC, and I am glad for it.  I’ll take all the help I get get.  I note that I never — really never —get anything like it from any Canadians.  Right or left.

It’s pretty funny because while I rarely have a pleasant word to say about the liberals’ NYT, they nonetheless send visitors my way.  Maybe they think their readers will laugh at what they see.  Maybe they think it bolsters their own left-wing advocacy to show what they might think is right-wing idiot-speak.  I don’t know.

Anyway today it’s a blog entry in which I’d mentioned their left-wing columnist Paul Klugman (in a typically and properly derogatory way) and directly compared him to an almost identical left-wing CBC columnist’s column, in which the CBC columnist said much the same lunatic thing.

But (and here’s the beauty bit) the blog entry is really about the state-owned CBC’s dismal viewership numbers.  So all those American liberals can also see how poorly the state-owned liberal-left media is doing in Canada.  These facts, and shame, and disgrace, have no national boundaries.

I moused-over the link explaining how the NYT chooses which news websites or blogs to feature in their “Headlines Around The Web” box, as seen below.  And I can attest to the fact that is utterly nothing to do with my articles being “commented upon”.  (Is the reader comments for this blog entry still “0”?)

Another one noticed today:  USA Today, which also frequently (if robotically) links to articles here.  This one points to my entry from this morning: “Progressive Hugo Chavez expropriates another private company in drive to socialism”.  I felt compelled to blog about it because as I looked around, I found NOTHING about it in the Canadian media.

And this too!  This one is funny because I’ve been nothing if not totally contemptuous of the NPR’s firing of Juan Williams, and have dismissed NPR as another media tool of the left.  Yet PTBC is featured right at the top: “Liberals Attempt to Stifle Soldiers
