Quebec does a fake-out on healthcare

When you read the whole article, you find yourself tripping over the obfuscation and having to dodge liberal-speak at every turn.  It’s a story being told by a liberal-left media and a government bent on maintaining a failed—proven over and over to be a failed — socialist healthcare system.  They’re literally tripping over themselves to not admit that only private enterprise is capable and is once again proving itself (as it has done over and over, all over the world) to be the only possible savior of Canada’s current decrepit, failed, liberal-left government experiment with our lives, our socialist North Korean-style healthcare system.

The Quebec health minister fails to admit, as does the media reporter, that he’s making bold government healthcare “wait times guarantees” —not in all areas, but in areas where private enterprise is saving the day.  My my.  How bold.  Minister of Liberal-Left Obfuscation and JamTarts is what he is.

‘‘We have everything in hand in the public health system to improve access,’’ Couillard said. ‘‘It’s already happening.’‘

Couillard noted wait times for cataract operations in Quebec have already been cut by two-thirds since 2003 and the province’s new system of guaranteed wait times will gradually eliminate delays for hip and knee surgery. Those are the other two items the bill will allow the private system to tackle.

‘‘We are going to get results in other areas too,’’ Couillard said after tabling the bill in the province’s National Assembly.

‘‘I wouldn’t invest at all in this. I am convinced we can make it work.’‘
