Reflections of liberal-left dingbatentia

I find these three stories illuminating—they’re not necessarily related except in their display of liberal-left stupidity and lack of compass.

(1) Streisand rips Condi Rice.
The brilliant political strategist who helped liberal loser John Kerry lose the election with her hilariously naive political bon mots and self-righteous outbursts, Barbra Streisand has now focused her ignorant stupor on the evil Condoleezza Rice.

“Condoleezza Rice, who has failed miserably the last four years with respect to national security, is yet another example,” Streisand writes. “Only in the Bush Administration can one’s consistent failures and misjudgments lead to ascension within the ranks.”

To the genius singer/actress/sanctimonious blowhard, failing miserably means: no terrorist attacks in America the past 3 (plus) years

(2) Ben & Jerry’s co-founder begged for enemy of U.S.
An old story from back in September 2001, just before the 9/11 attacks.  Ben Cohen, left-wing idiot and co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Cohen wrote in his web site on September 4, 2001 that he wished an enemy of the United States would attack the United States, in order to justify the Bush administration’s pre-9/11 hike in defence spending.  Cohen said that this money “diverts money from poor children, the environment, and other good things.”

ENEMY WANTED. Serious enemy needed to justify Pentagon budget increase. Defense contractors desperate. Interested enemies send letter and photo or video (threatening, OK) to Enemy Search Committee, Priorities Campaign, 1350 Broadway, NY, NY, 10018. …

I am distributing a job description as widely as possible to help our politicians find the enemy they seek. Even with the help of defense contractors — who spend $50 million on lobbyists annually — our politicians do not possess the creativity to find the right adversary. It’s clear that the old concept of enemy doesn’t work anymore.

The trouble is the Defense Department needs to find an enemy in a hurry. The Bush Administration has proposed to increase Pentagon spending by $33 billion, the largest defense increase since the Cold War. …

Over 40 million Americans, including about 10 million children, have no health insurance.

My enemy search — if successful — would go a long way toward easing the consciences of our politicians who support the fat Pentagon budget, which diverts money from poor children, the environment, and other good things.

As of today, however, my search is not going well. So, I am open to any and all suggestions or leads that you might have. I am, of course on the lookout for the right headhunter, but none has materialized.

If you’ve got any killer ideas, please let me know.

(3) Nutbar peace protesters threaten violent protests against Bush.
Nutbar dingbatentia kingpin Amy Bartholomew of the extreme fringe left-wing group of losers called Lawyers Against the War is calling for President George Bush’s arrest when he arrives in Canada for a meeting with bloated liberal leader-wannabe (but Prime Minister nonetheless) Paul Martin.  In fact, she wants Bush barred from Canada because he is criminal, she says.  Since she’s a lawyer, this conveniently works out for those of us in sensible-land as a free advertisement promoting the concept of elected officials governing instead of liberal-left activist judicial rule as currently takes place in Canada.

These liberal peacenik anti-war anti-American anti-Bush Marxist protesters are threatening the use of violence in order to protest war.  To liberals, this makes sense.

A coalition of anti-war protesters, left-wing lawyers and anti-capitalists refused repeatedly yesterday to condemn those who might resort to violence during the “loud” demonstrations planned for the visit next week of U.S. President George W. Bush.

“A number of protesters are coming together to protest the real violence going on around the world right now,” said Joe Cressy of the No To Bush campaign, which is organizing two large demonstrations for Nov. 30, the day Mr. Bush will be in Ottawa. “People are angry at Bush. People are going to express themselves through art, through direct action, through a number of different formats.”

…”…George Bush must be brought to justice rather than treated as a guest in Canada,” said Amy Bartholomew…
