So left they don’t know how left they are anymore (or worse, they do know)—PART TWO

Three creepy propaganda items I took note of during the Christmas holidays.  There were many more.  I can’t keep up.  Here’s PART TWO.
(Part One here  |  Part Three here)

Please explain why it’s “contrary to expectations”.
Or is there some other reason why you specifically made a point of mentioning Sandra Bullock’s latest movie character is someone who is “religious”, a “Republican” and “NRA member”, and then you add immediately after this, that “contrary to expectations”, her character actually did something nice, and not just for anyone, but for a “black” man specifically.

imageContrary to whose expectations?  Only liberals and further leftists would deem this to be “contrary to expectations”, whether they actually believed it or not, or simply wanted you to believe it.

Completely aligning with my expectations, the reader is purposely left thinking that either the article writer, Jay Stone, or the movie makers, or both, want to subtly remind us all about what is apparently the very obvious —the inarguable and clearly self evident notion that all Republicans (and possibly Christians and “rich people”, which may of course be all one and the same, which is even worse !) are generally accepted by all to be racists and cheap, uncharitable asses and gun-toting louts who would never do anything nice, particularly to a “black” man of all people.  For a “Republican” and a “member of the NRA” to do this is “contrary to expectations”, you see.  The man’s black!, you see.

This would of course be left-wing stereotyping and propaganda of the worst kind;  a malicious lie, and clear bigotry in the extreme, if that was in fact what he or they were trying to achieve here.  And I don’t know if they were.  But without further explanation, it’s what I read into it.  Of course I am a “Republican” kind of guy (—or more accurately, a conservative), and I am actually a “member of the NRA”.  And I’m a Christian.  So I just might be totally stupid and might take things “contrary to expectations”.

Bullock one of Hollywood’s most versatile actors
By Jay Stone, Canwest News Service January 3, 2010

Sandra Bullock turned 45 this year, and became the most popular actor in Hollywood, two things that are not necessarily connected. The age business is kind of a surprise: Bullock seems to have snuck up on us, going directly from sweet-natured ingenue to gun-toting ubermother—her character in The Blind Side is a religious, Republican member of the National Rifle Association who, contrary to expectations, adopts a large black teenager and nurses him to a football scholarship, scaring away some violent drug dealers along the way. …

I always remind folks that liberals speak as though everyone in the room agrees with them, but this is ridiculous.
